Dear Tennessee,

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to the Tennessee Crime Prevention Coalition (TCPC) website. TCPC was founded in April of 2008 through a grant from the Tennessee Department of Finance and Administration, Office of Criminal Justice Programs. I was hired as Executive Director and began the task of forming a coalition of organizations across Tennessee that could play a vital role in crime prevention. My 31 years of law enforcement experience with 17 years as Sheriff of Tipton County have enabled me to know first hand how important preventing crime is for our citizens to feel safe in their communities. Our goal here at TCPC is to promote positive relationships between citizens and law enforcement so that working together we can ensure safer communities for our families.

I am truly honored to lead this effort and to work with Tennesseans to bring about a united effort among ourselves to make Tennessee an even better place to call home.
